Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2019 Webinar

The Inclusive Learning Network continued its annual tradition of celebrating Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2019 (#GAAD) with a webinar. This year, we brought together educators from around the world to share how they are implementing inclusive learning practices in their local contexts.

The theme of the webinar was Inclusive Education Around the World and it featured the following presenters:

• Colombia: Nitza Guzmán, Luis Acero, Miguel Mejía, and Edwin Ortiz (Colegio Alemán Deutsche Schule Barranquilla. 

• Thailand: Nantanoot Suwannawut (Bureau of Special Education, Thailand Ministry of Education)

• Kathleen Bastedo and Nancy Swenson (Center for Distributed Learning, University of Central Florida)
